The Gibraltar based gambling operator 32Red has increased its involvement with horse racing after entering into a sponsorship partnership with the United Kingdom racing track operator Jockey Club Racecourses.
The new three year deal features an emphasis on the Haydock Park racecourse with 32Red signing on to become the principal sponsor of the 2016 Sprint Cup, which will eventually lead to full sponsorship of the entire Sprint Cup Festival which will run over three days during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
This year’s Sprint Cup Festival is scheduled to take place at Haydock between the 1st and 3rd of September and the Sprint Cup, which has been taking place at the Merseyside racecourse since 1966, is the culmination and highlight of the three days racing activity.
In addition to the Sprint Cup, 32Red will also be sponsoring the 32Red Superior Mile race and the 32Red Old Borough Cup race during the 2016 season.
This new sponsorship deal involving 32Red and Jockey Club Racecourses sees them replace another gambling operator, Betfred, as the Sprint Cup’s marquee name sponsor. Betfred is a part of 888, a provider of Cassava bingo sites.
